Stockmar has been making quality products for art and art teaching in Germany for many decades.
Hans Stockmar started with beekeeping products and beeswax candles in 1922. Acting on the suggestion of certain art teachers he soon proceeded to develop his modelling wax, and the rest is history.
Beeswax is what gives Stockmar products the characteristic transparent, glazed effect. The majority of its palettes are based on Goethe's Theory of Colors, which form the theoretical basis of art education in Waldorf schools.
Stockmar products are certified as having no negative impact on human health and the environment.
它的顏色依從歌德的色彩論（Theory of Colors）而製訂，亦是華德福學校裏藝術教育的基礎。
